How to use your cup correctly:

STEP ONE. Clean your DIVINE CUP

Before using your Divine Cup for the first time, sterilize it by soaking it in boiling water for 5-10 minutes. Tip: To prevent damage, place your cup in a colander or wrap it with a metal spoon to prevent it from touching the bottom of the pot.

STEP TWO. Choose the right folding technique

Different folding techniques offer different advantages and can facilitate CUP insertion. Depending on your anatomy and preference, you can choose the method that suits you best:

U-fold

  • Flatten: Press the CUP flat so that both sides lie on top of each other.
  • Fold the CUP: Bend the top edge down to form a “U” shape.
  • Insertion: Gently insert the folded cup. Once you release, it will unfold and form a secure seal.

E-folding

  • Flatten: Hold the CUP at the sides and press it together.
  • Fold into an “E”: Fold one side of the flat CUP down to the middle.
  • Insertion: Insert the CUP with the narrow side first.

7-fold

  • Flatten: Press the CUP flat.
  • Form a “7”: Pull one corner of the top edge of the flat CUP diagonally downwards.
  • Insertion: Insert the CUP with the longer side of the “7”.

STEP THREE. Insert your CUP

Wash your hands thoroughly. Choose a comfortable position—sitting, standing, or with one leg elevated. Gently insert the folded cup. Many women feel a slight pop as the cup unfolds and the vacuum is created.

STEP FOUR. Remove your CUP

Wash your hands thoroughly. Grasp the bottom of the cup with your thumb and index finger and gently squeeze to release the vacuum. Slowly pull the cup out.

STEP FIVE. Care for your CUP

Clean your DIVINE CUP before and after use with a gentle, fragrance-free soap. This will keep your cup hygienic and comfortable to wear.
