Cleaning and storage
Before using the DivineCup for the first time, you should disinfect it: place it in a pot of boiling water for 3 minutes. To prevent the cup from melting on the bottom of the pot, you can place it in the grates of a whisk and place the whisk and cup in the boiling water.
After removing the DivineCup after use, you should clean it. Rinse it first with cold water (to remove odor and discoloration) and then with warm water.
After your period, you should disinfect the DivineCup. To do this, boil the cup for 5–10 minutes. You don't need to do this during your period; it's sufficient to do it at the end of each period. If you're not using the DivineCup at the time, it's best to store it in an air-permeable container—never in a plastic or synthetic container that's impervious to air.
Public toilets
If you don't have access to running water in public restrooms or while on the go, always carry some water with you. You can also use toilet paper or oil- and fragrance-free soap to clean the cup.
