TSS

Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS): TSS is an infection caused by a specific bacterium that can lead to severe organ and circulatory failure. When this bacterium enters the bloodstream through an open wound or the uterus, it produces a toxin that triggers shock in the body and can be fatal. Most known cases of TSS to date have occurred during menstruation. However, men can also experience TSS. General signs of TSS include fever, vomiting, and diarrhea, as well as sunburn-like symptoms. If you notice one or more of these symptoms, remove the cup immediately and seek medical attention immediately.
